These consist principally of sums paid into Court in suits before the Court and of distraints. In every case there is within an order of the Court or a Judgement and it would be easy in a test examination of these accounts to call for some of the audits.

These are governed by Ordinances 7 of 1873 and 5 of 1885.

Section 5 of the former Ordinance lays down that such orders as shall seem fit shall be from time to time made by the Supreme Court in respect of Trust Estates and for the investment of any monies or of any dividends or interests, or any stocks, shares or securities and for the Transfer and delivery out of any such stocks, shares, or securities and for the administration of trusts generally.
